What to Expect at Balance Wellspace as a New Patient
Our team of dedicated health professionals is ready to help you start your journey to optimal health. From your very first point of contact, you can expect a caring and supportive experience.
You can also expect one of the most thorough and extensive intake processes you have ever experienced in healthcare. We spend the time necessary to gather as much information as possible in the beginning to ensure an accurate diagnosis. This enables us to provide optimal treatment recommendations, which helps our patients obtain the best results.
New Patient Process in Our Office
Start with a scheduling call. The first step is to speak with our front desk team to book your initial examination. During this call, we will ask a few questions about your condition, collect basic demographic and insurance information, and explain what paperwork you will need to complete.
Schedule your consultation and exam. Our front desk team will schedule a comprehensive consultation and examination with your case manager and medical provider. You can expect an email with a link to our initial paperwork.
Arrive and get settled. When you arrive, our team will greet you and help you complete any remaining paperwork. Your case manager will then bring you to a private room for a detailed consultation.
Complete your initial examination. After your physical examination, the medical provider will determine whether X-rays are needed. This process helps us understand your current health and what you want to improve.
Review imaging appropriately. If X-rays are taken, they are sent to a radiologist to be read. Your chiropractor may also review any immediate findings with you.
Return for a Report of Findings. A follow-up visit called a Report of Findings is scheduled within 24 to 48 hours. During this visit, we review exam findings, imaging results, and treatment recommendations. We also disclose all financials before any care is administered.
Coordinate care behind the scenes. After the initial visit, the clinical team meets to discuss your exam findings, imaging, and goals, then determines the best course of care.
Confirm benefits and costs. Treatment plan recommendations are forwarded to our billing and finance manager, who runs insurance benefits against the plan. This allows your case manager to provide a transparent estimate before you begin care.
Understand your plan and your coverage. At your Report of Findings appointment, we share your results, the recommended care plan, and a clear breakdown of financials, including what insurance does and does not cover.
Begin care with a coordinated plan. If you choose to move forward, you can start care that day. Our providers will coordinate your visits so your experience stays smooth and organized.
